LeeHarborLeeHarborInvestor Brief TR Global charter inventory · Pre-seed
Multilingual sea-intelligence charter platform

The decision layer above yacht charter inventory.

LeeHarbor unifies global yacht/boat inventory with sea intelligence: charter search, marinas, routing, draft-aware coves, weather, AIS and safe-haven advice on a single screen. After the Booking Manager + NauSYS acceptance, the goal is to connect ~20,000 boats/yachts of inventory to the LeeHarbor experience.

Executive Summary

In one sentence

Marine software today is fragmented: a sailor plans the route in Savvy Navvy, books the spot in Navily/Dockwa, charters the boat on Click&Boat/Viravira/SamBoat and checks the weather in Windy — four apps, four logins, zero shared intelligence. LeeHarbor brings these into one product and differentiates with a real wedge: it computes the coves a boat can enter given its draft and the sea state on its dates, and turns that into a charter/marina decision on the same screen.

The full briefing below is for sharing with investors; every external figure is sourced, derived estimates are marked "assumption", and there is no inflated or fabricated traction.

Legend: ✓ = strong/full · ◐ = partial, early or dependent on integration · ✗ = absent. LeeHarbor inventory scale assumes Booking Manager + NauSYS integration goes live and is de-duplicated. Until then, it remains an accepted/pending milestone, not completed traction.

Takeaway

The established charter marketplaces win on proven demand, brand trust and booking volume. LeeHarbor does not yet beat them on transaction scale.

LeeHarbor's advantage is a different axis: it combines global inventory access with sea intelligence. Once Booking Manager and NauSYS inventory is live, the company can compete as an intelligence-led charter layer rather than a generic listing site.

The key investor question is therefore not "can LeeHarbor list boats?" but "can sea-aware context increase qualified inquiries and bookings?" If yes, LeeHarbor occupies a differentiated global position.

LeeHarbor — Global Positioning, Funding Case & Valuation

Prepared for investor conversations after Booking Manager and NauSYS acceptance. Stage: product built, global inventory integrations accepted / pending implementation, revenue and GMV still to be proven. All valuation ranges are directional, not guarantees.

1. Investment Thesis

The yacht-charter journey is still fragmented. A customer searches inventory on a charter marketplace, checks wind and waves in a weather product, studies coves in a guide, plans the route somewhere else, and contacts a marina separately. This creates uncertainty at the exact moment a traveler needs confidence.

LeeHarbor is building the decision layer above yacht charter inventory: a multilingual sea-intelligence platform that combines global yacht supply with weather, route, marina, anchorage, AIS and draft-aware cove context.

The Booking Manager and NauSYS acceptances change the company from a small local charter MVP into a credible global-inventory platform candidate. Booking Manager publicly claims 12,000+ yachts across 1,300+ fleet operators; NauSYS publicly claims roughly 9,000 yachts across 900 fleets. Some inventory will overlap, but together they create a credible path toward approximately 20,000 searchable boats/yachts inside LeeHarbor.

The core thesis is not "we have more boats." Inventory alone is commoditized. The thesis is that LeeHarbor can make global inventory more trustworthy and higher-converting by answering the questions static marketplaces do not answer:

  • Can this boat's draft reach the coves I want?
  • Is the weather and sea state suitable for my dates?
  • What route and safe-haven options exist?
  • Which marina or service provider supports the trip?

Investor one-liner: LeeHarbor turns yacht inventory into a sea-aware booking decision.

2. Market Position

The market is split into two strong but separate categories.

Charter marketplaces such as Click&Boat, SamBoat, Viravira, GetMyBoat and Boatsetter own inventory, booking flows and customer acquisition. Their weakness is that the booking experience is mostly list-driven. They generally do not compute marine suitability, route context, cove reachability or shelter intelligence.

Navigation, weather and marina products such as Navionics, Savvy Navvy, Navily, Dockwa and Windy own trust, data or route context. Their weakness is that they generally do not own global charter inventory or complete charter booking flows.

LeeHarbor sits between the two:

Axis Incumbents LeeHarbor position
Charter inventory Strong in Click&Boat/SamBoat/Viravira/GetMyBoat Booking Manager + NauSYS accepted, integration pending
Marine intelligence Strong in Navionics/Savvy/Windy/Navily Already built: route, weather, draft-aware coves, Safe Haven, AIS
Marina/berth context Strong in Navily/Dockwa by region 2,238 marina data asset + berth-request loop
Multilingual global distribution Strong in larger marketplaces 6-language platform, Bali-based global company

Result: LeeHarbor is not yet a top global marketplace by revenue, but it can become one of the most differentiated products in the category once inventory integration goes live.

3. Competitive Rank After Integrations

If Booking Manager + NauSYS inventory is live, searchable, priced and properly de-duplicated, LeeHarbor's market rank changes materially.

By global booking revenue today: LeeHarbor remains below established incumbents until real bookings are proven.

By inventory access: LeeHarbor can move into the global top tier, subject to overlap and API permissions.

By product differentiation: LeeHarbor is top 1-2, because few competitors combine charter inventory with route, weather, marina, AIS, safe-haven and draft-aware cove intelligence.

Practical investor ranking after live integration:

  1. Click&Boat / Nautal / Scansail group — brand and transaction scale
  2. SamBoat / Dream Yacht ecosystem — European charter strength
  3. GetMyBoat / Boatsetter — global P2P scale and US strength
  4. Viravira — Turkey/Med specialist and strong local brand
  5. LeeHarbor — differentiated intelligence-led challenger with global inventory access

With meaningful monthly leads and bookings, LeeHarbor can credibly move from "top 10 challenger" to "top 5 global specialist" and "top 2-3 in Turkey/Eastern Med positioning."

4. Moat

The moat is a stack, not a single feature.

  1. Inventory access: Booking Manager + NauSYS can solve the cold-start supply problem.
  2. Sea-intelligence layer: draft-aware cove matching, land/sea route planning, Safe Haven shelter logic, weather and AIS context.
  3. Local data depth: 2,238 marina records, anchorages, fishing, wind sports and coastal SEO.
  4. Multilingual distribution: 6-language platform for global SEO and international travelers.
  5. Transactional plumbing: charter models, commission ledger, reservation requests, support, notifications, operator/admin panels.

Any one part can be copied. The combination is much harder to assemble quickly.

Honest limit: The moat is not yet a network-effect moat. It becomes much stronger only after live inventory, real booking data, reviews, user behavior and operator relationships accumulate.

5. Business Model

LeeHarbor can monetize across several layers:

Revenue line Model Timing
Charter bookings Commission / affiliate / agency fee First priority
Charter leads Qualified lead fee or success fee First priority
Marina berth requests Commission or operator SaaS Near-term
Service-provider marketplace Deal commission Already plumbed
Premium intelligence Subscription/API Later
Sponsored visibility Featured listings, destinations, partners Later

The first commercial focus should be charter leads and bookings because Booking Manager + NauSYS make this the fastest path to revenue.

6. Revenue Scenarios

Assumption: approximately 20,000 boats/yachts are live in search, with reliable availability/fare display or lead flow.

Scenario Operating assumption Annual revenue potential
Conservative 50-100 qualified leads/month, low conversion EUR 30k-100k
Base case 200-500 leads/month, 2-5% booking conversion EUR 150k-500k
Upside 1,000+ leads/month, SEO + partner conversion works EUR 750k-1.5M+

These are scenario ranges, not forecasts. Actual results depend on traffic, commission terms, API permissions, payment flow, response speed and brand trust.

7. Valuation Framework

Before the integrations are live, LeeHarbor should be valued as a product/IP platform with accepted strategic supply integrations.

After the integrations are live, the company becomes an inventory-enabled marketplace challenger.

Milestone Directional valuation range
Accepted integrations, not yet live USD 400k-800k
Live 20k inventory, search/fare/availability working USD 900k-2M
Monthly lead and booking flow proven USD 2M-5M
EUR 500k+ annual revenue proven EUR 3M-8M
EUR 1M+ platform revenue proven EUR 6M-15M+

Recommended raise: USD 750k-1.5M pre-seed/seed.

Use of funds:

  • Booking Manager + NauSYS integration and data quality
  • Payment, escrow, contracts and compliance
  • Multilingual SEO and conversion funnels
  • First commercial/partnership hires
  • Product polish, mobile and support operations

8. Milestones Investors Should Underwrite

0-3 months

  • Booking Manager and NauSYS APIs integrated
  • Inventory de-duplication, mapping and sync jobs
  • Search, price, availability and yacht detail pages live
  • SEO indexation for high-intent charter pages

3-6 months

  • First qualified lead and booking metrics
  • Commission/affiliate tracking validated
  • Payment/escrow strategy finalized
  • Support and trust workflows operational

6-12 months

  • Repeatable conversion funnel
  • Destination-level SEO wins
  • Operator and agency partnerships
  • Evidence that sea-intelligence features improve inquiry conversion

9. Key Risks

  • API access may not include all price/availability/booking permissions.
  • Inventory overlap between Booking Manager and NauSYS may reduce the true unique count.
  • Large inventory does not automatically create traffic or trust.
  • Escrow, consumer protection and charter contract structure must be handled correctly.
  • Incumbents can copy parts of the sea-intelligence layer if LeeHarbor proves demand.
  • AIS and weather dependencies must remain reliable at scale.

10. Closing

LeeHarbor is not another boat-listing site. It is a multilingual sea-intelligence charter platform.

The company has already built the difficult product foundation. Booking Manager and NauSYS acceptance now create the supply-side path. The next investment milestone is clear: connect global inventory, prove qualified demand, and show that sea-aware booking converts better than static yacht listings.

B · Market Sizing (TAM/SAM/SOM) & Valuation Comparables — with sources

Market Size, Source Signals & Valuation Notes

This appendix supports investor conversations. Public market and platform numbers are source signals, not audited LeeHarbor data. Booking Manager and NauSYS figures are public company claims and may overlap.

1. Market Signals

The yacht charter and boat-rental market is large, seasonal and highly concentrated around Europe and the Mediterranean.

Public market reports commonly place the global yacht charter / yacht rental market in the multi-billion-dollar range for 2025/2026, with Europe and the Mediterranean as the most important cruising and charter region. Reported figures vary by definition: some include only crewed yacht charter, others include broader boat rental and luxury yacht categories. For investor use, the correct interpretation is not a single exact TAM number, but the structural fact that this is a large, growing, high-ticket leisure market where booking conversion and trust matter.

2. Supply-Side Platform Signals

Platform Public scale signal Relevance to LeeHarbor
Booking Manager 1,300+ fleet operators, 12,000+ boats/yachts, 500 destinations Accepted integration can create major supply access
NauSYS Around 9,000 yachts, 900 fleets, 5,000 charter agencies Accepted integration can add broad global supply
Viravira 12,000+ boats globally, 2,800+ Turkey boats Shows Turkey/Med charter demand and local SEO strength
Navily 850k+ users, 35k+ marinas/anchorages, 300k photos/comments Shows appetite for marina/anchorage community data
SamBoat Publicly states 20% commission in help docs Indicates acceptable marketplace take-rate range
GetMyBoat Public owner service fees around 11.5-14.5% for standard transactions Indicates lower-fee marketplace benchmark

The most important LeeHarbor implication: supply access is becoming API-enabled. The next source of differentiation is not merely "having listings" but improving trust, context and conversion above those listings.

3. LeeHarbor Addressable Opportunity

LeeHarbor's near-term opportunity is not to win the entire global yacht charter market. The realistic first wedge is:

  • High-intent multilingual yacht charter search.
  • Turkey, Greece, Croatia, Italy and wider Mediterranean trips.
  • Users who need confidence about weather, coves, route and marina context before requesting a boat.
  • Operators and agents who benefit from qualified, better-informed leads.

4. Valuation Logic

LeeHarbor valuation should be milestone-based.

Milestone What is being valued Directional range
Current product + accepted integrations Product/IP, data assets, strategic access, execution option USD 400k-800k
Inventory live Global yacht supply searchable inside LeeHarbor USD 900k-2M
Lead/booking flow proven Evidence that traffic converts into commercial value USD 2M-5M
EUR 500k+ revenue Real marketplace economics EUR 3M-8M
EUR 1M+ platform revenue Scalable commercial proof EUR 6M-15M+

This is intentionally conservative versus large funded incumbents because LeeHarbor still needs to prove traffic, conversion, escrow/payment trust and repeatable partner economics.

5. Suggested Round

Recommended raise: USD 750k-1.5M.

Primary objectives:

  • Ship Booking Manager + NauSYS integrations.
  • Build reliable de-duplication, sync, search, price and availability logic.
  • Prove qualified leads and booking conversion.
  • Complete payment/escrow/compliance structure.
  • Expand multilingual SEO and conversion funnels.
  • Add commercial partnership capacity.

6. Source List

C · Competitor Profiles — Charter Marketplaces

Boat-Charter Marketplace Competitive Landscape (2024–2026)

For investor use. "LIVE" = verified current; figures marked ⚠ are self-reported marketing claims or dated/conflicting across sources. All external numbers cited below.

Click&Boat (France) — the European P2P leader

  • What: Peer-to-peer + pro boat rental/charter marketplace.
  • Scale: ⚠ ~35,000 boats, 550,000+ members, 50+ countries (company claims).
  • Model: Commission from owner (≤23–26% of listed price, negotiated) plus a renter booking fee. (help.clickandboat.com)
  • Ownership/funding: Majority-acquired July 2021 by Boats Group (Permira-backed); deal value undisclosed. (NB: it is SamBoat, not Click&Boat, that sits inside Dream Yacht — a common mix-up. Dream Yacht did hold an early minority stake in Click&Boat.)
  • Strengths: Largest Med inventory; multilingual; instant booking. Weaknesses: High effective take-rate; review trust complaints; no marine intelligence.

SamBoat (France) — Dream Yacht's P2P arm

  • What: P2P/pro rental marketplace, sister-brand strength in Med.
  • Scale: ⚠ "50,000+ listings, 300,000+ users, 120 countries" (marketing; earlier collateral said 25,000 boats).
  • Model: Commission-based; free to list.
  • Ownership: Acquired by Dream Yacht Charter Nov 2018; Dream Yacht Group itself majority-acquired 2021 by Groupe Bénéteau + PPF (~€60M). (crunchbase.com, whitecase.com)
  • Strengths: Backed by world's largest charter operator (fleet access); strong Croatia/Greece/Turkey. Weaknesses: Brand overlaps Click&Boat in same group; thin tech differentiation.

GetMyBoat (USA) — largest by listings

  • What: Global P2P rental + on-water "experiences" marketplace.
  • Scale: ⚠ 150,000+ listings, claims 184 countries; >$200M cumulative bookings by 2023. (charteryachtguide.com)
  • Model: Owner commission ~6.95% + renter service fee ~5–15%; uniquely allows free direct owner-renter messaging.
  • Funding: $21M Series B from Yanmar (June 2023), who took a majority stake.
  • 2025 event: Merged with Boatsetter (announced Dec 18, 2025) — combined ">$500M bookings, 50 countries." (marineindustrynews.co.uk)
  • Strengths: Largest inventory; low take-rate; strategic OEM backer. Weaknesses: Listing quality varies; weak Med depth vs Click&Boat.

Boatsetter (USA) — best-capitalized, insurance-led

  • What: US-centric P2P rental with embedded insurance (Geico/Buoy) and captain network.
  • Scale: ~$14.9M revenue (2024), ~112 staff. (getlatka.com)
  • Model: Owner fee ~20–35% (with platform insurance); variable on performance.
  • Funding:~$74.6M total (Crunchbase) / ~$65M (PitchBook) — sources conflict; latest Series C $5M, Aug 2024. (cbinsights.com)
  • 2025 event: Merging with GetMyBoat.
  • Strengths: Insurance/safety moat, strong US brand, most funding. Weaknesses: Minimal international/Med footprint; high owner fees; no nav intelligence.

Borrow A Boat (UK) — roll-up that overreached

  • What: UK P2P marketplace that consolidated rivals.
  • Scale: ⚠ claimed 45,000–60,000 boats, 65+ countries (post-acquisition aggregates).
  • Funding: ~$11M, largely crowdfunded (Seedrs/Crowdcube).
  • M&A: Acquired Zizoo (Mar 2024), Beds on Board, Barqo, Kellyboat. ⚠ Then hit financial trouble and was itself acquired Sept 2025 by "The Boat Engine Ltd" (phoenix entity). (marineindustrynews.co.uk)
  • Strengths: Broad inventory via roll-up; UK brand. Weaknesses: Financial instability; integration risk; thin moat.

Sailo (USA) — small, US day-rental focus

  • What: NYC-based P2P rental (day trips, captains).
  • Scale: ⚠ 50+ countries, 500+ locations (claims); largely US in practice.
  • Model: Owner 29% (or 14% if self-insured) + renter ~7% service fee. (sailo.zendesk.com)
  • Funding: ⚠ Crunchbase shows only ~$100K logged (likely incomplete); Neogen Group took 9.4% (2019) — figures dated/unreliable.
  • Strengths: Clean UX, US day-charter niche. Weaknesses: Small scale, stalled funding, high owner take-rate, no Med presence.

Zizoo (Germany) — defunct

  • ⚠ Raised ~$30M; filed insolvency Feb/Mar 2024 (allegations of withheld charter payments); assets bought by Borrow A Boat, now absorbed/inactive. (yacht.de) Cautionary tale on charter-payment escrow risk.

Viravira (Turkey) — strongest Turkey/Med specialist

  • What: Founded 2015; yacht charter, gulet "blue cruise," sailing-holiday platform.
  • Scale: ⚠ "12,000+ boats, 60+ destinations; 2,910 verified yachts in Turkey" (company claims "Europe's largest"). (viravira.co)
  • Model: Commission on bookings; no listing fee.
  • Coverage: Turkey + Greece, Italy, Croatia. Strengths: Deep Turkey/gulet inventory, local SEO, blue-cruise specialization. Weaknesses: Regional only; conventional listing UX; no marine/route intelligence.

Yatport (Turkey) — Istanbul-only niche

  • What: TÜRSAB-licensed agency marketplace (#10359); markets "commission-free / no-intermediary" hourly, daily, overnight rentals.
  • Scale: ~173 boats, Istanbul/Bosphorus only, 10 departure points. (yatport.com)
  • Model: Direct owner↔renter; booking via site or phone (not clearly instant-confirm).
  • Strengths: Local Bosphorus depth, commission-free positioning, Turkish-language SEO. Weaknesses: Single-city, tiny scale, no online instant booking, no intelligence.

Capability Matrix

✅ yes · ◐ partial · ❌ no

Capability Click&Boat SamBoat GetMyBoat Boatsetter Borrow A Boat Sailo Viravira Yatport
(a) Instant online booking ◐ (req.) ❌ (req./phone)
(b) Marine / route intelligence
(c) Marina berth booking
(d) Commission-free option ◐ (free contact) ◐ (claim) ✅ (positioning)
(e) Turkey/Med depth ✅ high ✅ high ◐ med ❌ low ◐ med ❌ low ✅ very high ◐ Istanbul-only

Investor takeaway: Every competitor monetizes inventory + booking; none offers row (b) computed marine/route intelligence or row (c) marina berth booking — LeeHarbor's stated wedge sits in genuine white space. Turkey/Med leaders are Viravira and the Click&Boat/SamBoat (Dream Yacht/Bénéteau) bloc; the US is consolidating into one GetMyBoat–Boatsetter entity; Zizoo and (financially) Borrow A Boat illustrate the sector's escrow/working-capital fragility.

D · Competitor Profiles — Navigation / Marina / Weather

Marine Navigation / Marina / Weather — Competitive Landscape (2024–2026)

For investor doc. External figures cited; where a company keeps numbers private I say so rather than estimate.

Profiles

Navily (France, founded 2014, Edouard Fiess; now under "The Navigation Family"). Cruising guide + berth booking: crowd-sourced anchorage/marina reviews plus in-app reservations at 1,000+ partner marinas, ~1.1M users. Disclosed funding is modest — ~$1.32M (2018) from Turenne Groupe, Courtin Investment, Jump Ventures, P.Factory; no large public round since. Model: freemium + Premium subscription, marina commission. Strength: the best Mediterranean anchorage community + booking combo. Weakness: no real routing/navigation engine, no charter, thin capitalization.

Savvy Navvy (UK, 2017). "Google Maps for boats" — auto-routing that bakes in wind, tide and depth. 3M+ downloads, 250M+ miles plotted. Crowdfunding-led: £750k+ on Seedrs (2024), £692k on Republic (Dec 2025, 197% oversubscribed), ~£14M pre-money valuation; moving toward at-the-helm OEM integrations. Model: consumer subscription. Strength: best-in-class consumer routing UX + weather. Weakness: no booking, no marketplace, no charter — pure navigation.

Dockwa (US, part of The Wanderlust Group). Two-sided marina platform: boater reservations app + marina-ops SaaS (contracts, POS, dry-stack). ~400K boaters, 300K-boater network, grew from 1,000 marina partners in 2020 (>10% of US marinas) to thousands of marina operators; acquired Marinas.com. Parent raised $14.2M Series B and a $30M Series C (Jan 2022); older revenue est. ~$7M (dated). Model: % of marina revenue + annual software fee; free "Claim" tier. Strength: dominant US marina booking + management; genuine network effect. Weakness: US-centric, no navigation, no charter, no weather intelligence.

Navionics (Garmin) (Italy). Electronic charts + Boating app. Acquired by Garmin Oct 27, 2017price undisclosed, 350+ staff retained. Bundles the ActiveCaptain community (marina/anchorage POIs, reviews). Model: chart subscription (~$22/yr), tied to Garmin hardware. Strength: chart depth and OEM distribution. Weakness: charts-only; POIs are informational, no transactional booking; ecosystem lock-in.

Aqua Map (Italy, GEC). Offline vector/raster charts, route explorer, anchor alarm; surfaces marinas/anchorages via ActiveCaptain + Waterway Guide overlays. Model: app + chart IAP/subscription, cheaper Navionics alternative. Strength: value pricing, anchor-monitoring, US/Caribbean coverage. Weakness: US-centric data, no booking/marketplace, no charter.

MarineTraffic (Kpler) (Greece, 2007). AIS vessel-tracking leader. Acquired by Kpler (with FleetMon) Feb–Mar 2023, price undisclosed; Kpler had raised $200M+ (2022) and later bought Spire's maritime arm for $241M (Nov 2024). Model: B2B maritime data/analytics + freemium consumer map. Strength: the AIS data category leader. Weakness: a data/enterprise-intelligence play, not a recreational nav/booking product (it's a supplier LeeHarbor-type apps consume).

Windy.com (Windyty SE, Czechia, 2014, Ivo Lukačovič). Premier weather visualization, ~25M+ users, widely embedded via API. Bootstrapped, profitable, no VC (distinct from the separate "Windy.app"). Model: freemium + Premium + API licensing. Strength: unmatched weather viz, ubiquitous. Weakness: weather only — no nav, booking or marketplace.

Adjacent / B2B: Theyr (marine weather data/API, enterprise) and NauticEd (sailing education/certification) sit outside the booking/marketplace core — relevant as data suppliers or partners, not direct rivals. The charter world (Click&Boat, SamBoat, Boatsetter, GetMyBoat) is a separate marketplace category with inventory but no navigation intelligence.

Does anyone combine Navigation + Booking + Marketplace?

Player Navigation/intelligence Marina booking Charter marketplace Geography
Navily weak (guide, no routing) yes no Med-strong
Savvy Navvy strong no no Global
Dockwa no yes (+ops) no US
Navionics/Aqua Map strong (charts) no (POIs only) no US/global
MarineTraffic data (AIS) no no Global B2B
Windy weather only no no Global
Charter sites no no yes Global
LeeHarbor yes (routing + draft→cove + sea-state) yes (planned/early) yes (early) Med

No incumbent spans all three axes. Each is excellent on one and absent on the others: Savvy Navvy navigates but can't book; Dockwa books but can't navigate (and is US-only); Navily books + reviews in the Med but has no routing engine or charter; charter platforms list boats with zero on-water intelligence; Navionics/Aqua Map render charts but transactions stay informational.

White space for LeeHarbor

  1. The integration gap itself. The market is unbundled — navigation, booking and charter are three separate apps. A boater today plans in Savvy Navvy, books in Navily/Dockwa, charters on Click&Boat, and checks Windy. LeeHarbor's thesis — computed marine intelligence that links a boat's draft to reachable coves and your dates' sea-state, then lets you book/charter on the same screen — has no direct equivalent.

  2. Mediterranean depth. Dockwa (the only true nav-adjacent booking marketplace) is US-only; Navily is the Med booking leader but lacks routing and charter. The Med is the world's densest charter + cruising market and is under-served by an intelligence-led booking product.

  3. Charter × intelligence. Charter marketplaces have inventory and reviews but no answer to "which boat can actually reach the anchorages I want, in the weather I'll have?" That computed match is genuinely novel.

Honest risks (for the doc)

  • Incumbents can extend into the gap. Garmin/Navionics, Kpler and a £14M-valued Savvy Navvy are far better capitalized; any could add booking or a marketplace layer.
  • Network effects favor the booking incumbents (Dockwa's marina supply, Navily's Med reviews). LeeHarbor's marina booking is early/partly planned — supply liquidity is unproven.
  • LeeHarbor is pre-revenue / pre-funding, competing on product breadth rather than scale. The defensibility must come from the intelligence layer + Med charter integration being hard to replicate quickly, not from capital.

Bottom line: the wedge — navigation intelligence + booking + charter in one Mediterranean product — is real white space, but it is white space precisely because it is hard, and the surrounding axes are each held by a well-funded specialist.
