What does listing my boat cost? How much is the commission?
Listing and publishing your boat is free. LeeHarbor only takes commission on completed charters (default 10%); you never pay on income you didn't earn. The rate is stated clearly in your agreement.
How is the money collected?
In the current model the operator (boat owner/business) collects payment directly; LeeHarbor records the booking, contract and commission and invoices it. Customer funds are not held on the platform (Law 6493 compliance). On-platform payment/escrow will be added later with iyzico.
Who can list a boat?
Professional charter businesses, gulet owners, yacht agencies and individual owners who want to earn from their boat. If you have several boats you can manage them all as a fleet from one dashboard.
What do I need to list?
A free account, your boat's basics (type, length, cabins/berths, draft), a few photos and pricing. You prepare the boat as a draft in minutes and publish when ready. Operator verification helps you stand out with a trust badge.
How do I manage availability and pricing?
The dashboard has a live availability calendar: block booked dates and the system auto-declines requests for them. You can set seasonal price bands, length-of-stay discounts, extras, packages and campaigns.
How does the booking process work on the operator side?
A request arrives → you send your quote broken into hire, extras and VAT → the renter accepts the contract and pays the prepayment → a digital handover report is signed at check-in and a return report at check-out. Every step is on record.
What happens if there is damage?
Handover and return are recorded with a photographic digital handover report. If a dispute arises you can open a damage claim and upload evidence; the security deposit is the reference in that process.
